Home Depot R2-D2
#1
So who in here is making a Home Depot R2-D2 better with modifications? I just completed one, added a front hologram and a back data port, filled the legs with foam for stability, added neck stabilizer, hose mounts, and a lot more.

Please share your thoughts and experiences about yours?

Yes Home Depot, the place of kitchen sinks and 2x4's sells a $299 R2-D2 it is only about 89 percent to scale. But there has been a massive community online that has grown around it. People like me have adapted them, modified them, repaint them et. They are very hard to find on the Home Depot site as they are very popular. You can get them on Ebay, but the problem is sellers there pretty much double or triple the pricing.

Alas the world we live in. But yes, it is actually very popular and real. Below are some pics of the one I just finished.
